This weekend, Alena Hron makes her debut with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in a series of family concerts, conducting the fantasy overture from Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet on Sunday, 22 March at Het Concertgebouw.
In addition to her commitments with the South Czech Philharmonic where she is Chief Conductor, Alena’s 2025/26 guest conducting schedule includes debuts with Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra at the Gewandhaus, Polish National Radio Symphony in Katowice, and Kyoto Symphony Orchestra in Japan. At home, she returns to the Prague Symphony Orchestra and the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, among others.
