Alena Hron Concludes Brilliant 2025/26 Season with Kyoto Symphony Debut

Alena Hron concludes her successful 2025/26 season with her Kyoto Symphony debut at Kyoto Concert Hall on 20 June and the Fukuyama Hall of Art & Culture on 21 and 22 June.

The all-Dvořák programme features the Overture to Carnival, Op. 92, B. 169; Piano Concerto in G minor, Op. 33 with soloist Tomoki Sakata; and Symphony No. 7 in D minor, Op. 70.

These concerts cap a season of impressive debuts including with Amsterdam’s Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, MDR Leipzig, Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire and Polish National Radio Symphony in Katowice. She also won the prestigious Diapason d’Or de l’Année for Artistic Project for her recording of the complete orchestral works of Czech composer Vítěslava Kaprálová on the cpo label, with the Janáček Philharmonic.
