VENUE NOTE:

Let yourself be carried away by the magic of music – from the symphonic sorcery of Dukas’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice to the legendary film melodies of John Williams – and step into a world of spells, mysteries, fantasy, and musical wonders for adults and the very young alike.
As dusk falls, the Brewery Garden will transform into a gateway to a realm of magic and imagination. The evening opens with Paul Dukas’s iconic The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, a sparkling fairy-tale composition about the true power of magic, followed by the mystical El amor brujo (Love, the Magician) by Manuel de Falla, full of Andalusian rhythms, performed by mezzo-soprano Bella Adamová. The second half of the concert immerses the audience in the world-renowned universe of Harry Potter through the music of John Williams, which has become one of the most distinctive musical symbols of modern cinema. The program includes the famous Hedwig’s Theme, the melodies accompanying the first steps into Hogwarts, the mysteries hidden in the Chamber of Secrets, and the adventures of the Prisoner of Azkaban. Under the baton of Alena Hron, the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc will accompany the evening. This concert is part of the Second Festival Weekend, which includes three following concerts:
